Our Tabletop Christmas Trees
Festive and just so sweet!
For our first Christmas with Laurens I knew I wanted a little tree in his nursery that we could bring out year after year to make the sweetest memories. So I hit the jackpot when I found this tiny tabletop tree for under $20! I ended up ordering two in hopes and prayers and a little bit of wishful, delusional thinking that we might be able to have a second baby. Our journey to our first was long, so I told myself that if it didn’t work out, I would just put the extra tree somewhere else. But deep down, I really was hopeful for two tiny trees in two tiny rooms one day.

Last year when I unboxed Juliet’s tree, the one I had saved for her before she was even born, there were full on tears over a sweet and silly dream realized. These trees mean so much to me and the kids LOVE them.

And I love how goofy they are about them! I found the little dinosaur ornaments a few years ago (here is a similar set) and we strung colorful lights and found these tiny balls that just make the tree so happy. These are Juliet’s ball ornaments and I’m on the hunt for a few more sweet ones to add. I figure the trees can grow with them and they can swap out the decorations as they please, but for now we are all thrilled with how they look!

I also couldn’t find a star I liked, but I had these ornaments from Target and thought if I snipped off the loop and poked a hole in the bottom with a pencil it might work. And wouldn’t you know it… it did!
I love that every person who steps foot in the door HAS to see their trees, the kids bring everyone to their rooms to show them off. And last year Laurens was nervous to have the Christmas tree lights on at night but this year he cannot sleep without them. The memories are already happening!
Also, these tiny boxwood wreaths we have on their mirrors are so sweet and this is the bow. I used for Laurens’. And then I just ordered a two-inch pink velvet ribbon for Juliet’s and made hers to match.
Anyway, I hope these inspire you for your own tiny trees and the joy they can bring!
P.S. This is our big tree in the living room and we love it so much (see here). Also, I have these ornaments (50% off right now) from when each of the kids were born and they are just so very special!

This meant so much to me! We’ve been trying for a year to get pregnant. A friend just offered me a 4-foot tree that I accepted for the guest room, but I’m 100% dreaming of it for a baby. Maybe next year <3 thanks for sharing.
I love the sentiment behind those precious trees! For me, it was a little pair of dress shoes I tucked away for years, waiting on the dream. I figured I could eventually donate them if we never needed them, but I will say the day I put them on her little feet for the first time tears were definitely shed. Sometimes Christmas trees and baby shoes are signs of God’s faithfulness for sure.
