Paper, Linen, and Monogrammed Napkins

I love them all.

I have a napkin obsession. Truly, I come by it honestly… my mom’s collection rivals mine. But I really believe that there isn’t any little luxury better than a pretty napkin! From paper to linen to monogramed, I love them all and I *use* them all.

I’m not too reluctant (and try hard not to be!) with really anything I own – use the good china, the good napkins, the good crystal any chance I get. I don’t even need an excuse. Any random Tuesday you can find me pulling out the linen napkins!

I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite places to scoop up napkins in case you too are itching to add to your collection or just need a good excuse to start a collection. Both are a worthy cause in my opinion. 🙂 So let’s get into it, shall we?!

Paper Napkins

When it comes to paper napkins I pick these up EVERYWHERE, but I will say I do have a few favorite places to shop for them. We are constantly using these pretty little napkins in our home for our morning coffee, snacks, and of course cocktails/appetizers when friends come over. You really can’t go wrong with a fun paper cocktial napkin!

Caspari – (Also sold on Amazon) In my opinion Caspari has THE. BEST. SELECTION. of cocktail napkins. I often order 4 packs at a time, that way I have a little stockpile, and gosh, they just make me happy. These are my current favorites.

Meri Meri – (Also sold at Target & Maisonette) I love Meri Meri and I especially love their children’s products. I mean, HOW sweet are these?!?

HomeGoods – But if you are near a HomeGoods they always have an amazing selection of paper napkins. Like almost too good to be true! I never walk out of HomeGoods without a pack or two!

Linen / Fabric Napkins

Okay, so linen napkins are F-U-N because you can find them anywhere! From thrift shops to fancy shops and everywhere in between. I’m all about a fabric napkin, because WHY NOT?! Especially if you took the time to cook, you deserve a fancy napkin.

Lettermade – I know Malia from Lettermade and everything she does is impeccable! I have these daisy napkins and they are among my favorites.

Etsy – Let’s be honest, Etsy is kind of the greatest. I have purchased SO. MANY. napkins off of Etsy! Everything from vintage ones like these to block print ones like these. The world is your oyster when it comes to Etsy.

Amanda Lindroth – I have a handful of Amanda’s napkins and they are by far my most used. They are *easy*. They wash well, are beautiful, and… I just really like them.

The Avenue – I love absolutely everything from The Avenue, especially their table top items! The linens are to die for. SO many beautiful and unique pieces. If you want something special, look no further. Currently very into these.

Monogramed Napkins

Now if we are going fancy, and we are, let’s talk monogramed napkins! Again there are so many places to get them, but I do have a few favorites and they always, ALWAYS, make a statement. And who doesn’t love that?!

Hibiscus Linens – So, I am boarder line obsessed with everything Hibiscus does and the options are endless and beautiful. But right now, I have my eye on these because, well, they are everything. Also, I really love that they teach embroidery classes as well, so if you are a DIYer like me, you can learn from the best.

Etsy – And we are back to Etsy again because they. have. everything. From formal monogramed napkins like these to hand stitched floral napkins like these. I want them all.

Well, who knew I had so much to say about napkins? Ha! If you made it this far you deserve a gold star. 😉

  1. Thank you for this post! I thought I was the only person who loved table linens (especially napkins). I would love to know how/where you store them. I am doing some reorganizing and this is one of my projects. I am running out of room because I buy everything in “12’s”!

  2. Hey Ashley! I also love napkins and have been growing my collection! I adore the monogrammed blue napkins you have shown. The style of the napkin reminds me of the William Sonoma or Pottery Barn linen hem stitch napkins; but what makes yours so special is the beautiful monogram! Where are the napkins from and were they monogrammed where you purchased them? Thank you!

  3. We switched to linen napkins exclusively (I have my grandma’s old ones, plain white but they work wonderfully!) to cut back on paper waste a year ago, and we’ve never looked back. When we have guests they always think we pulled the fancy ones for them, but the truth is we just use them every day! Would love to get some cocktail-sized ones too, thanks for the idea.

  4. I love this, Ashley! Now, I’d love to know how you launder your fancy napkins. My husband and I have plain white ones that can be bleached, but even then they are often ruined after a dinner party. What is your advice, especially with the colorful ones?

    Thank you! 🙂
