The Best Breakfast Recipe | Overnight Oats
So easy, and the perfect grab-and-go!
With back-to-school just around the corner, I wanted to share one of my favorite gluten-free dairy-free breakfast recipes with you that is so simple, delicious, and filling: overnight oats. I love making them in little snacking jars because they are perfectly portioned for a quick breakfast or healthy snack.
These are SO incredibly easy to make and also super fun because they are adorable! I mean, who doesn’t love food in a cute little jar? (These and these are my favorite to use.)
I make three at a time and keep them in the fridge. Perfect to pop in a lunchbox or to grab for a quick snack at your desk. (Similar to these, which I always have on hand!)

Plus, I love that this is a gluten-free dairy-free breakfast recipe… those can be hard to find! And it can be nut-free too, if you need it to be. Also, it’s so yummy to utilize fruit that’s in season, whether it’s peaches, strawberries, apples, etc. Honestly, this is just a good recipe to keep in your back pocket for the early, rushed mornings!

Overnight Oats Snacking Jars
Ingredients: (for 1 jar)
1/3 cup gluten-free old fashioned oats
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp maple syrup
2/3 cup almond milk (any type of milk will work)
Toppings: fruit & almond butter
*optional — 1/2 scoop of protein powder (this is my favorite)
Directions:
Place all ingredients into a small jar and stir. Leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours, but it’s better if it’s been longer. After it firms, top with almond butter and/or fruit to taste… and enjoy! So simple, so good.
You’ll have to let me know if you try this one, and make sure you tag me so I can share!
