Last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I accidentally misspelled the title of my post so it read “Bordstrom” instead of “Nordstrom”. I was so embarrassed, but much to my surprise, people freaked out. I got handfuls of e-mails saying “thank you,” because the coverage of this sale is beyond intense and stressing everyone out. And as a consumer myself, I had to agree! The misspelling was most definitely an honest mistake, although, the more I thought about it the more I liked it… So here is your 2nd Annual “Bordstrom” sale!
Here’s the thing, I love Nordstrom and quite literally shop there all the time, but the sale stresses me out. For one, I don’t have a Nordstrom card so I can’t shop until it opens to the public. Two, it’s still 100 degrees here in Florida and looking at Fall clothes makes me feel claustrophobic. So really, the pre-season shopping is lost on me.
When I think of the Nordstrom sale I think basics only. The items I wear and use all year round that I will end up needing or having to replace throughout the year – like bras, tennis shoes, and my favorite face cream. So today I’m sharing with you 10, ONLY 10, items that I have, use, and will repurchase during the sale. Friends, this is just the basics. No muss, no fuss around here, I promise!

Zella Live In Leggings
I buy a new pair of leggings once a year. That’s right. ONCE a year and these are the ones. I love these leggings because they last all year and the high waisted band is magical. Also, these Spanx Faux Leather Leggings are a great purchase and I picked them up last year during the sale and wore them all Fall/Winter long!

Natori Feathers Bra
This is the only bra I wear unless it’s strapless, and I buy them during the sale because the price is so great! I have multiples of this bra in nude, pink, and black and I ALWAYS pick up another 3 during the sale each year.

Tahari Sleeveless Jumpsuit
I have a black jumpsuit that is such a staple in my closet. It’s jazzier than a little black dress and can be worn to a wedding, the office, date night, a show, or girl’s night. It’s my go-to so when I saw this one I thought, YES!!

Cole Haan Bow Pump
These nude blocked heels (and Ballet Flats version) are a definite staple. I try and replace my nude shoes at least once a year because they get so scuffed up, especially if you wear them as much as I do! And this bow Cole Hann version is an instant classic!

Nike Essential Tank
I love a relaxed tank top to work out in or wear while runing errands. I usually wear a crop top sports bra underneath, that way while I’m working out I can tie it up or take it off, but once I’m done I can throw it back on and head to the grocery store. If you don’t have one of these then you don’t know what you are missing! Easy athleisure at it’s finest!

I have these sneakers and I LOOOOVEE them! They are cute enough to wear with jeans and a t-shirt but comfortable enough to run a handful of miles in each morning. These are a no-brainer!

I legit SQUEALED when I saw that this was included in the sale. I became addicted to this stuff ever since it was included in my Fab Fit Fun box a few months ago, and truly just ran out last week. I say this in all honesty, my skin glows when I am using it 3xs a week! It’s more on the pricey side, so getting it during the sale is a MUST!

Again with the squealing! This is my FAVORITE face cream and it’s pricey, so this is a reaaaallllly good find. I can not recommend this enough. Not only does it work actual miracles on your skin but it feels good throughout the day. Not oily or greasy. It’s the perfect moisturizer in my opinion. GET THIS ONE. Trust me.

I have a Nordstrom debit card…it’s not a credit card but a card directly linked to my bank account (the same way Target does – for those who don’t know, if you get a Target debit card, it is linked to your debit card (not a credit card) and you save the 5% on all your purchases and get free shipping online – so totally worth it). I thought it was cool because I still get early access to the sale without having yet another credit card (store credit cards are the worst unless you pay them off every month in full!). So it is definitely worth checking out. I really love so many of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale clothes and have purchased several things this year that really do appear to be great deals, but it’s important to really LOVE the items and not get caught up in the hype of “you must hurry and buy everything!”. I bought the draped jackets that were normally $98 each for $56. So, I thought it was a great deal. I also bought sweaters and shoes but I figure that since Nordstrom has free shipping and free returns it’s a win-win. I’ll get the sale price and if I don’t like it, I’ll return. The process is so simple! I really miss our Nordstrom Department store at Florida Mall!

Totally agree on the leggings and Neulash (got a lash lift yesterday and the women commented on how thick and nice my lashes were… all thanks to neulash. I had the saddest, thinnest lashes before I started using it in January. Though I must say consistency is key, gotta use it every night).
