September’s Book Club Pick
A story full of chemistry, wit, and charm…
Well, hello, friends! Hope you had a fun and fulfilling summer of reading… we had a lot happening with our baby girl’s arrival (!!!) but I have been able to sneak in a few good reads along the way. I hope you did too!
This month’s pick was one of those books I just adored and I’m excited for you to read if you haven’t already. The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center was a delight start to finish, full of characters complicated and charming, and the humor was pitch-perfect.

The premise of The Rom-Commers is this…
She’s rewriting his love story. But can she write her own?
Charlie Yates is a great writer. He wrote the epic screenplay that made Jack Stapleton a household name—and became a household name himself. But now he’s written a romantic comedy . . . and it’s terrible. Emma Wheeler could have been a great writer—but her life didn’t quite go like she planned. Now, when she gets the chance to rewrite Charlie’s apocalyptically bad screenplay—uncredited, of course—she jumps. But Charlie doesn’t want anyone to rewrite his work—least of all a “failed nobody screenwriter”—and Emma can’t support a guy who doesn’t like rom-coms adding another terrible rom-com to the world.
So what choice do they have, really . . . but to fall stupidly, crazily, heart-poundingly in love?
A rom-com book about a rom-com? Yes, please! Honestly you guys, this was one of my favorite summer reads. My Kindle was on fire, ha! And if you already read this one and need another recommendation, here’s a full list of amazing books to choose from if you need another good read.

Love it! After reading this I read the bodyguard and loved that even more. Keep the recommendations coming!
