Tuesday Morning Musings | No. 301

The sweetest day with my little fam…

Hey there! Good morning and happy Tuesday! I’m a tad behind on our weekly musings post, but I’m patting myself on the back for getting it done before Friday rolls around. I adore these posts each week and hate missing them, so I always push myself a little extra to make it happen! Anyway, I hope your weekend was delightful… ours was so fun, though I must admit, I wasn’t quite ready to dive into the new week.

Friday night was a blast! We went out with friends for dinner and a show, and I wore this. Anytime we swing by The Daley Trade it’s bound to be a good night! We ended up crashing at my parents’ house and woke up to a spread of pancakes, bacon, and piping hot coffee… absolute bliss, see here! I spent the day with my family while Ryan tackled some work on the new house. I *can’t wait* to fill you in on all the new house happenings, but let me tell you, we are knee-deep in it right now. I’m usually all for getting my hands dirty with home and yard projects, but being a tad too pregnant and with a toddler in tow, things are looking a bit different! So, we’ve been tag-teaming it. I’m eagerly awaiting the day when we’re not bouncing between two homes, but I’m incredibly thankful we have a place to stay while the house still has rogue nails hanging about!

The highlight of my Saturday, without a doubt, was a visit to my favorite Titusville antique store, it’s an absolute gem. My mom, sister, niece, and I had a lovely girls’ afternoon, and we hit the jackpot! I went in hoping, wishing, and praying to find a dresser for the nursery (everything we’ve ordered for the nursery so far, and our inspiration here) and lo and behold… the perfect one was waiting for me! What a thrill!

And our Mother’s Day was just precious. Ryan and Laurens spoiled me with coffee in bed and the most amazing gifts ever (brace yourself for a laugh: this and this, my dream gifts!). After church, the three of us enjoyed brunch (this is what we wore!) before heading to my in-laws’ for more celebrations, complete with homemade brownies and backyard soccer. Truly a sweet day.

All in all, it was a wonderful weekend! I’m grateful for those little moments of calm amidst the whirlwind of transitions we’re currently navigating. We’re smack dab in the middle of making memories, which is pretty special when you think about it. T-minus two weeks until the big move! Eek!

Happy Tuesday, friends! Now, let’s dive into a few things I’ve had my eye on…

5 Things I’m Loving

A few fun things I’m loving right now…

THIS DRESS! Under $100

I wore this dress on Friday night in cream (see here) and omg, PLEASE go get it. So super flattering, lightweight and it just feels so good on. I ordered a M for the bump, but I think I could have done a small. I’m going to order the black ASAP in a small for post baby. I love it SO MUCH.

My Favorite Bra

I’ve been getting so many bra questions lately, which is thrilling for a typically small-chested gal like me, ha! So I’m living it up while I can. But honestly even pre-pregnancy I had switched to this bra and it has been game changing. Such a good fit, and I love that I can find a great color match.

*P.S. I wore this bra under the dress above!

Polka Dot Swing

Speaking of dresses, our sweet nanny is getting married at the end of the month and I’ve been going back and forth on what to wear! It’s outside, so I want to be cool, but I’m also fully pregnant! I found this dress and it is just adorable, and I’d pair it with these earrings. Right now it’s a top contender! Wouldn’t show sweat and it’s playful but also sophisticated. Checking all the boxes!

Pink And Green Seersucker Rainbow Diaper Set

Rainbow Bubble

A girlfriend of mine gave me this little rainbow bubble and it is SO cute, I can’t stop thinking about it! I need to order some hangers (these are my favorite!) because I’m so ready to get her closet all set up.

Coastal & Breezy

This top popped up on my new arrivals radar this week and I can’t stop thinking about it. I love this style of top (this is another favorite that I own, see on me here) and I can’t get over the blue and white stripe. So cute, right?! It’s just begging to be packed in a suitcase heading somewhere with coastal/nautical vibes!
