Let’s Cook! February’s Sweetheart Dinner Menu

A gorgeous meal for those you love most…

Sometimes simple is best, especially when making a fun date night meal! And in my house, I can never go wrong with a meal that consists of really good steaks and some sort of baked potato situation. I almost never make either (we eat a ton of fish around here), so when I do pull out the cast iron for the steaks, it’s definitely a special occasion!

Plus, there is nothing in the world easier to make than a baked potato, so SIGN me up for this menu… it’s simple and sophisticated! And one that everyone is sure to love.

Also, here’s even more heart day inspiration: how to set-up an easy backyard date night, GF/DF sweet treats to bake, and plenty of full-of-heart gift options to have on hand!

P.S. As always, everything will have a gluten- and dairy-free option if it isn’t already GF/DF friendly, so you can proceed with confidence.

Healthy Wedge Salad

Plating & Pairings

Honestly I love a wedge salad, and this one checks all the boxes PLUS is a healthy version!

*To make it dairy-free, sub the buttermilk with one of these recipes and the yogurt for a df version! And obviously omit the cheese.

I made something very similar to this when Ryan and I first started dating and he still to this day talks about it. Such a treat!

Hot Fudge Sundae

Simply Whisked

One of our favorite restaurants in town does a very good hot-fudge sundae, but I never can have it, so I think it would be so much fun to make a gf/df version! Honestly you really don’t need a recipe for this… just use your favorite brownie mix (I love King Arthur!). But you do need a good hot fudge sauce recipe and this one looks amazing!
