I hope you all had a wonderful and restful weekend! Here is just a peek at what I was up to”¦

1. Christmas Cards

Sending and receiving Christmas cards is hands down one of my very favorite traditions. My dad is a photographer, and growing up our Christmas card was always such a big deal! We spent tons of time planning, prepping, photographing, and then signing and stuffing envelopes during the month of December.  I love that this is a tradition Ryan and I have kept in our own home! Especially since not only do  I get a photo of the the two of us that I love, but having my dad take it makes it all the more magical.

2. Festive Date Nights

We’ve been on a serious mission this holiday season to quite literally do ALL. THE. FESTIVE. THINGS. And honestly, I think so far we are truly crushing it! We’ve been to every holiday party in town, we’ve done all the Christmas activities Central Florida has to offer, and with one week left… I think we might just hit everything that was on our massive “holiday to-do list”!

One of the things on our list was going on a festive date night with our favorite couple! And on Saturday we did just that! We got all dressed up, I wore this pretty tartan off the shoulder top (which is my FAVE!), and headed out to Mount Dora for dinner and lights. If you haven’t been to Mount Dora and you live in the area, OMG you must go right now! It’s amazing! The whole town is dressed up for the holidays, and it is so cozy and sweet. You quite literally feel like you dropped right out of a Hallmark Movie!

3. That’s a Wrap

On Sunday afternoon I braved the crowds and officially finished our Christmas shopping! I even came home, wrapped everything up, and put it under the tree. It was a Christmas miracle! But I’ve got to be honest with you, there is nothing like rolling into Christmas week knowing that all your shopping is done and presents are wrapped! Bring it on Christmas, I am ready!!
