Weekend Lookbook: May 5-7, 2017

Photo 1. Cinco de Mayo

On Friday night, we strung up twinkle lights, turned on our favorite playlist, mixed up some margaritas, and called our friends over for a little backyard fiesta! Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite nights of the year, because let’s be honest, there is nothing better than tacos and margaritas with your besties. We threw out a couple of blankets in the backyard, pulled out jars of bubbles for the kids, and spent the evening sipping margaritas! Such a good night!

Photo 2. Gardening

We have been in serious backyard mode these past few weeks! To be honest, we let it get a bit out of control, so it was time to get it together over here! Over the weekend, Ryan worked on building us a planter, one of our last big projects for the backyard, and I cannot wait to get it installed and in place. Since most of the work has been structural, I’ve been dying to start adding flowers. So while the planter is being finished, I thought I could at least start by doing a little sprucing up on my own. I dug out our pretty pots from the garage and started filling them back up with flowers. I’m so excited to see this project finally start to come together! Can’t wait to show you the finished look.

Photo 3: Baby Shower

On Saturday, I attended one of my good friend’s baby showers! We had the best time sipping mimosas and talking all things baby boy. The weather was amazing and we sat outside, ate croissants, and doted on our favorite momma-to-be!
