Weekend Lookbook: October 14-16, 2016

HAPPY MONDAY!

Here is just a peek at what I was up to this weekend”¦

PHOTO 1: PALM BEACH

On Thursday of last week we drove down to Palm Beach so that I could host the Swoozies Palm Beach Gardens store’s 10th Anniversary party! I love Palm Beach for many reasons, but the sweet people I met at the party just made my love for Palm Beach that much more! I had the best time meeting everyone who came out to drink champagne, shop, and of course take selfies! I felt like we were all best friends by the end of the night, and I am pretty sure it doesn’t get better than that! 

Since we were already in Palm Beach, we decided to stay at our favorite hotel on the island, The Colony. If you love color, this place is for you! It’s literally like staying inside a chic coloring box! Unfortunately we only were able to stay one night, having to get back to work the next day, but we soaked in as much as the hotel had to offer while were there, including breakfast al fresco!

PHOTO 2: DINNER WITH FRIENDS

On Friday night we got together with a 6 of our besties for a big “family dinner”. We sat around the kitchen island sipping wine, catching up, and snacking on hummus while dinner was finishing up. And once dinner was ready, we sat around the table for hours just enjoying each other’s company. We’ve all been best friends since college, but with busy work schedules, houses to keep up, and little ones, we don’t get to see enough of each other… so Friday night was extra special!

Ryan and I were in charge of the wine, so I of course picked out two extra pretty bottles to bring. Judging wine by the label is really a talent of mine, and this one actually turned out to be quite good!

So if you are interested in a pretty bottle of wine to bring to your next get together, I’d highly recommend Fleur!

PHOTO 3: A COLORFUL MATINEE

On Sunday afternoon we caught the last showing of Mary Poppins at our local community theater! My sister-in-law was in the play which made going even that much more fun. I love the theater and need to make going more of a priority. There are so many great shows coming up that I already have my eye on including, The Nutcracker, American in Paris, Little Mermaid… the list could go on and on! 

We are also hoping to make a quick trip to NYC in December to see Chris Botti play at the Blue Note, any time we can squeeze in a show or a concert I’m all in!
