Here is just a peek at what I was up to this weekend”¦

PHOTO 1: Breakfast Date

On Saturday morning I had to get some work done, so I thought I would pack up my laptop, notebook, and of course Lucy up in the car and head somewhere fun for breakfast with a side of e-mails. We had been cooped up in the office all week and I was dying to get out of the house! It ended up being the best morning, we did breakfast at Barnie’s Coffee Kitchen and then stopped the Winter Park Farmer’s Market for a few extra treats.

PHOTO 2: Green Thumb

We are still on a mission to get our yard back into shape after what seems like the hottest Summer we’ve ever had. Like I said last week, all of our plants turned extra crispy in the Florida sun, so little by little we’ve been replacing just about EVERYTHING! And this weekend, we planted these little happy daisies in our hanging porch pots. Daisies are my absolute favorite!

PHOTO 3: Healthy Pumpkin Muffins

I am officially WILLING Fall and cooler temperatures to get here so I figured I would go ahead and bust out the homemade pumpkin bread (or muffins!)… this is my version of a Fall rain dance! Ha!

Anyways, I just couldn’t wait any longer and decided it was time to bake! I ended up using Amy’s Healthy Baking Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread recipe and it was delicious and easily adaptable for gluten and dairy free! You should totally put these on your baking list this Fall, they are extra yummy!

Alright, this week is full to the brim of projects so I’m off to get it all started! Let’s make this our best week yet! xo ““ AB
