What I Packed: Staycation

Simple and Colorful

I thought it would be fun to share a few of the things I packed for our little staycation this past weekend! I didn’t take a lot of “daily outfit” photos since we really just spent time hanging out together, but here are a few shots I did snap! As you will notice, I’m currently very into hats and all things pink and purple, ha!

Also, I only (and I mean ONLY) wore my Merit Beauty products the entire trip; the only thing I did add was this eyebrow pencil (shade 2.5) because I la-la-love it.

Purple on Purple

I scooped up this bikini a few days before we left, and I am so glad I did. Such a great fit and tons of colors to choose from. Also, this shirt was a fantastic find. I sized up to a size 4 (it’s already quite oversized) which made it the perfect little breezy coverup. But I did pair it with these denim shorts because it wasn’t *quite* enough coverage for me just to walk around in sansshorts.

Oh, and this hat. It’s just so good.

Floral Frock

How fun is this dress?! I think it would make the perfect Easter dress (under $100!). Beyond that: so easy to just throw on after a long day at the pool. Love the belted feature and the oversized shoulders. It’s a lot of fabric, but it just works. Also it’s 100% cotton, which I love.

I paired it with my go-to twisted gold hoops, my favorite fancy heels (I’m obsessed with these), and a straw bag I’ve had for a few seasons (similar here). Such an easy date night look with a lot of impact!

Kaftan Life

This hat arrived exactly one hour before we left for our trip, so I immediately changed outfits so I could wear it! I can’t get enough of hats lately, and this one is such a great fit. I would *highly* recommend it. I ended up pairing it with my favorite kaftan dress (sold out, similar here) and leather woven tote. A great pulled-together look without much work at all… my favorite kind of outfit!
