Let’s Take a Peek!

Okay, so before we start, let me just prefaces this post! My closet is, in fact, a disaster. We do have a walk-in closet but my husband and I share it, it houses our little dog Lucy’s crate (the clothes buffer the sound of thunder when we leave her at home, ha!), my make-shift vanity (I sit on the floor in front of our mirror in the closet to do my make-up), AND last but not least, it also is our linen closet since we don’t have one.

So to say that it is crammed/a disaster area is an understatement. I am a super organized and tidy person by nature (I drive everyone nuts with my incessant “cleaning-up”), but the closet, I just can’t get a handle on, so I’ve decided to embrace the crazy and give you a tiny peek inside! 

 

 

Also, I thought it would be really fun to show you some new things that are in my closet, that I haven’t even worn yet, and how I plan on wearing them/making them versatile! It’s kind of a twist on a normal style post… I hope you like it!

Okay, so today I wanted to share with you my new favorite dress-up/dress-down floral swing dress from Eliza J! I am obsessed with ALL of my Eliza J. dresses (proof here, here, and here) and this was is no different. Also, I am pretty sure you can never go wrong with a swing dress! They are so easy to wear, plus during the Summer months in Florida, it’s so icky outside that it’s really all you can wear!

This dress is perfect because you can either dress it up with a cute pair of pumps or dress it down with a pair of sandals and a tote! My favorite outfits are the ones that I can run around town in and secretly have a clutch and a pair of heels tucked inside my bag to change into for dinner. I mean, it’s kind of impressive when you can really turn an outfit around in 10 seconds flat!
