It’s finally starting to cool down here in Florida, and you can feel the shift in the seasons! Everyone (even Lucy!) was a bit cozier and cuddlier this weekend. We spent most of Saturday morning right here with our windows open sipping hot French pressed coffee, and it was glorious!

PHOTO 2: Peony Season

I’m always so excited when peony season rolls around, and this past week I officially spotted some buds at our local flower shop! Clearly, I jumped at the chance to grab a few bundles and hoped they would open up really big. Oh-my-gosh they did not disappoint! I mean, look at this thing! It’s ginormous. I love peony season.

PHOTO 3: New Foundation

I’m always looking for a good foundation, one that can withstand the Florida heat and my sensitive skin! I’ve tried just about everything under the sun. While really like Laura Mercier’s foundation, I recently ran out. I received a gift from Lancôme with this Ultra Cushion Foundation inside, so I thought… “what the heck, I’ll give it a try!” I did, and I loved it! I’ve been wearing it for the past week everyday! Now, I’m not sure how it will react to the 100+ degree temps with 100% humidity, but for our Florida Fall weather, it’s perfect! You’ll have to let me know what you think if you try it! It’s really different, gel like, but I like it!
