My Weekend Lookbook: November 26-27, 2016

HAPPY MONDAY!

I hope you all had a wonderful and restful holiday weekend! Here is just a peek at what I was up to”¦

PHOTO 1: Flower Power

I’ve been ordering quite a few things from Rent The Runway recently and have been loving it! Seriously, it’s been so great! Both of my red carpet dresses (here & here) were Rent The Runway, and this year for Thanksgiving, I did the same thing! I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to wear on Thanksgiving since it needed to be worn in the kitchen, paired with flats, comfortable, and of course nice for dinner… let’s be real, that’s a lot to be asked of any piece of clothing, but then I saw this pretty thing and fell in love! I paired it with a matching Zac Posen bag from Rent the Runway and voila! my look was complete! Now, if I could if only have kept the dress and bag…

PHOTO 2: Pancake Breakfast

I rarely make pancakes, so when I do… it must be documented! Usually in the mornings, even on Saturday mornings we are always rushing out the door with a list a mile long, so when we get a chance to take the morning slow, we do it up big! This weekend we had nowhere to be, so I whipped up cinnamon pancakes, pulled out the whipped cream, made stove top espresso, and we stayed in our pajamas till noon! It was my favorite day of the weekend, hands down.

PHOTO 3: Decking the Halls

On Sunday afternoon we officially started decorating for Christmas, we don’t have the inside of our house quite done yet, but the outside is starting to look quite festive! I’m hoping tonight we can officially put our tree up!
